Dumped the main Dialogs, but there's still
some garbage in it. I have to double-check
the blocks that i dump. Sent the first ver
to Hector already. Let's see what gets out.

Yeah! Again, dumped Item descriptions, Map
Location / Country names / notes, Intro (100%
and more) some main dialogs, some other yet
unknown text i have to get to Hector. This
game is Great.

at start & some test dumps of main dialogs).

What's the 2nd without a 3rd? I tell you :
NOTHING.
So that's why im back again in like over one
year (yes one freaking long year)of pure sane
inactivity. I scanned the manual of the game
today. It was quite a nifty job, i'll get it
to Hector (that's the name of the best trans
and one of the most incredible persons i know
btw) as soon as i get broadband connection...

Hah and twice. No entry for like over _two_
years...man im really getting lazy....oh well
anyway, i traced down the text routines (at
least the first ones that i stumbled onto).
I got the block switching routine too, which
looks really non-standard, with some strange
lookup table....mah. I always said that pro-
grammers were strange people.

Started it half an hour ago.
Just because I have nothing better to do...
BL is still waiting for the final scripts,
Arabian Nights waits for a translator. So i
thought wtf, lets do something new.
The game looks quite good - not as good as
SD3 of course, but it still defends itself.
IT looks like it has lots of text, which
makes me think that there can be a lot
of compressed stuff...yay.
Anyway, I'll trace a few things and see what
happens. Interesting tho, it looks like it
has a vwf for 8x8, and the ROM is rhougly
_48MBit_. Founded the main Font sets, the
8x8 isnt vw but 4x8. Traced Routines for font
writing, translating that game should really
be no trouble as it looks now... |
